Who's doing a traditional album and who's doing a digital album??? And why? I love the look of the traditional with matting, but the digital has some really creative compositions. I feel a little torn!

i also really wanted a traditional album until i saw my photographer's digital albums. so beautiful. so we decided to do the digital album instead.

I'm doing digital...just met with my photog this weekend to give my list of pics. They design it and will then email us images of what each page will look like. Then we get to make any changes to it we want. I can't wait to see. Entire process takes 3 to 4 months they said.

We are doing the traditional album because I like that the pages arent so busy, but digital albums are really creative.

We chose the magazine style layout (as you know).
We just felt it was so unique and every page is so different that they all tell a story of their own. We also fell in love with the faded background pictures and the # of pics we could get in the album. We have had tons of compliments on our album... people are floored by it.

We went with traditional as I didn't want it to be overwhelming. I love the looks of the digital but for me it was too many pictures on a page. I did make sure I was able to include more then 1 picture on a page in some cases with my album & I was!

I am doing a hybrid of both - some of the pictures are digital (with background pics) and some are traditional. I LOVE the simplicity and elegance of a traditional album but I wanted the creativity of a digital album so Duet is letting me do both.
