Your BP

Hey Ladies!!!

has everyone told their BP that they have been chosen? I havent really asked anyone yet....but only 2pple have an idea they are in it.....

if you are waiting, when will you be asking them?

if you have asked them, did you do anything original?

I told everyone. I knew who i wanted to be in my BP before i even got engaged. So when i got engaged I called them and said 'are you ready to be a bridesmaid, bc i'm engaged!!!!'

Thats very cute!!!!!!! I haven't told anyone yet. My MOH knows shes in the wedding party cause we're always talking about it, but haven't asked yet.

I think that most people have an idea because most of our Bridal Party is family but we haven't officially asked them yet. My FH is very into baseball and plays on softball leagues a lot so we are going to make Team shirts and hand them out. Everyone will have their title on the back and the year we are getting married. The front will say Team ___(new last name). I just have to order the shirts, we will probably ask around the beg. of summer!

Most of my girls know becuase we were all in each others but none of the guys know anything. I wanted to wait to think of something really cute---(having trouble with this) and do it in July at my eparty but FH says thats too long. GRR now i have to think of something sooner! lol

Most of them know! I made BM cards (1 is in my album). I am mailing them out in 2 days which is my one year mark!!! OMG!

We just asked about a month a go - we wanted to wait til around a yr and a half to give my friends time to save and plan but not tooo ahead lol. I ordered them all personalized cards on etsy and mailed them w/ a personal note on the back They loved em! Pics in album

Ive only asked one gf, who happens to be on here and getting married in Dec. I wanted to give her the option and let her think about it. I know 2 others Id like to be in it but want to wait til i know for sure everyone and then ask in a cute way like ive seen a few girls do on here.

I asked my MOH and FSIL over Champagne and then asked them to go for massages because I wanted to do something specical for them.

I asked my other girls by sending them a bouquet of flowers in the mail with a card that read:

'I would be honored if you would carry flowers like these down the aisle as a bridesmaid in my wedding.

Will you be my bridesmaid?'

I have 5 girls, plus the MOH so it was a little expensive but they all loved it and were surprised.

Yupp!! I gave all my girls personalized cookies that said their name and said 'will you be my bridesmaid ****?' the cookies were shapped like a bridesmaid dress

I was going to wait and do something special for them when I asked. Instead as soon as FH proposed I started making phone calls immediately. I figured I will give them special treatment later on so its not a big deal that I didn't do anything now.

I've told a few .. but i haven't made a formal announcement. I'm waiting till my one year mark to officially ask them. MY MOH definently knows she's the MOH. I had to tell her.

I saw this online and wanted to do this for mine.. My sisters and his sisters already know but i am asking two of my cousins too (who dont know yet)

Asking all 5 this week, already asked my MOH and on BM, I wanted to do something in person with a little DIY gift, pics are in my album...it definitely brought on the tears!

I plan to ask everyone at my engagement party (although I think they all know they are in it). I made cards through ofoto.... each card has a picture of me and the individual girl, which its own poem. Along with the card, I am giving cookies in the shape of a bridesmaid dress.

I asked my sister the day I got engaged to be my MOH, as she was in Disney World with us when it happened, and that was a given. :)

I have informally asked all of my girls that I can in person to be a bridesmaid. I just have two left that are out of state but they already know they are in it because the 3 of us agreed to that a few years ago.

Since the date has been picked, I am in the process of sending out formal invitations on kate spade stationary that I got in somewhat the wedding colors we are going with. I also had luggage tags made up for each girl that has their name, 'Bridesmaid' or 'Maid of Honor', 'J & T's wedding' and our date. I'm excited for them to receive them!

I JUST ordered my stuff for my girls. I got cookies from the Sugar Chic that are in the shape of a dress asking them, I got them adorable cards off etsy, and then I ordered them each a bottle of Bridesmaid Red Wine, since we're all a bit of a wino. I just don't know how to get FH's sister hers since shes the only one I won't see when I'm home.

As for the boys, FH cannot make up his mind, he's not really that close with a lot of people so I think it'll take a bit.

I have told two girls so far I am waiting on ONE more... I think I may ask her this week.. and we will eb complited...

I waited for this BM bc of bad experience with BP before... But I am glad I had a bad experience bc I became closer with this great ladies!!!

The first BM I asked, We always have fun pasting Notes at work, So thats how I did it!
I wrote it in a sticky note and she was soo happy when i asked her!!...

The second I asked, oh BOY Was i sooo nervous! We went to Fridays and I was waiting for the right moment lol and couldnt ask...
So when we arrive at her house.. i was like 'I dont know how to ask u but here..' and hand her a 'Will U be my Bridesmaid Amy?' magnet and she said Yes!...

the Third one happening this week (hopefully..) will be I made a DIY Card... So i will hand it to her.. and we will see has a really cute poem...
