My MOH is my little sister(she's 17 but we will be approaching her 19th birthday when I get married). For my Bridal Shower, she wants to throw me a Mad Hatter Tea Party, which I LOVE! I am going to help her with whatever I can because she's a little freaked out about planning things like that. I don't mind helping her at all. Are you helping to plan your Bridal Shower or do you want it to be a surprise?

Re: Your Bridal Shower
I think that is really nice. I, personally, don't want anything to do with my bridal shower. If my MOHs and Aunt want to throw one (which they probably will) then awesome, if not then that would be okay too. I just don't want the extra stress. That being said, I am so planning my bachelorette party. Viva Mexico!
I don't think mine will be surprise, I'm gonna have to know when to request off since I usually work weekends

Re: Your Bridal Shower
i have never had any suprises in my life (except for getting engaged) so i think it would be nice to be a surprise.
however i am going to tell my sister what i would like & wouldn't like.
for instance: i hate those underwear line things (i would be so embarrased) & i only like certain shower games.

I actually DON'T want it to be a surprise...knowing me, I'll walk in unshowered wearing jeans and a sweatshirt and no make-up!!!!

Re: Your Bridal Shower
my mom and moh are determined to make it a surprise but im a little sneak and always find these things out. plus it will probably be around the time of our bridal shower here so that leaves one less weekend for them to come up with an excuse

Re: Your Bridal Shower
I will be planning both of my bridal showers, I will be living in FL by the time of the wedding so I will be having one down there for friends that can't travel to NY and I will be having one in NY for friends and family. I would love for my MOH to do th eplanning but she is not reliable so I will have to take matters into my own hand. Plus she has a lot going on in her life so I dont want to give her any added stress.

Re: Your Bridal Shower
i would like to be surprised. but i probably won't be because once i get an invitation in the mail for some 'party' of sorts that seems off (like an aunts bday party or something) a few months before my wedding, i'll know its my shower lol

bc there are certain people who WANT to be involved with the planning of the shower who wont care i work and push for a saturday bc it doesnt conflict with sunday activities during that time of the year....Notice i said WANT though...

Re: Your Bridal Shower
i dont think i will be involved in the planning of my shower...we surprised my sister so I am sure they will try to surprise me as well. Between my mom and my sister (MOH) and 8 other BMs I am sure they can handle the planning without my help!

Re: Your Bridal Shower
I want to know NOTHING about it! My MOH has already said that I am not going to know anything...which is fine with me!
