YOUR Bridal Shower - Surprise Poll

Mine was a complete surprise! I did tell my mom that I would like it to be at her house and I did request a certain cake when the time came but other than that I wanted to know nothing about it. They certainly did surprise me

I THOUGHT I knew everything about it except the place- turns out I was wrong. Thought I was going to a 40th Anniversary Party at Bellport Country Club (mind you this was 11 months before my wedding AND I live out of state). Boy was I shocked when it was my shower and almost ALL of my BMS (who are all out of state as well!!!).

I was convinced I knew that my shower was in July because I thought the shower was Saturday am and then Saturday pm/Sunday we would do my B-Party.

I had picked the color scheme, CP's, etc. They did AWESOME monogrammed wine-stoppers for all the guests (with their own last name of course, not my monogram). Overall it was AMAZING, and although it was a little unorthodox being so early, everyone had a great time. I still have not gotten to post pix b/c they are on my mom's camera in NY (clearly I was not prepared for it).

We had thrown my cousin a surprise shower about 6 months before her wedding and she wanted me to have the same experience!
