Originally I wanted it to be no more 15.000 but that's just not really reasonable considering that I have a large family, I have 15 aunts and uncles and about 30 first cousins. I am cutting corners in not inviting kids and not inviting single family members with guest they have each other. I am only inviting friends I truly speak regularly. I am up in the air about coworkers since I recently switched jobs. I think it may be about 23,000 -25,000 when all is said and done.

I orginially had no clue what our budget was going to be (bad, I know!) but the RH is going to be about $25000 so I'm guessing with everything else, about $35,000?? Hopefully not more than that!

Costs of everything just keep rising as the guest list expands so my RH alone is practically 50k. I have told my family no more people. If they dont get an invite they can come over and watch the video.

FAmily is super important to both FH and I we didnt want to compromise so thats why we had a two year engagement since we are paying for it ourselves!!!

250 was our guarantee. I hope some people just just say no and save me some money so I don't have to pay for too many people over my guarantee. When you throw in linens, flowers and decor, dj, photo/video, its ridiculous.

It's nice to hear someone else going through the same thing! People look at me crazy when I tell them I'm having 150 at the Engagement party and guaranteed 275 at the RH... Def must be an Italian thing!!

Thats like me. I have liek 40 first cousins. My moms one of 6 and my dads one of 7. I am not inviting my dads side cousins b/c i am not close with them. Though I am close with all my second cousin on my moms side. Right now our list is 240 and there is no one to cut

lol its stressful! Its not like we have 40k in the bank. We both are working 2nd jobs and are working over 60-70 hrs a week and im going to school. I think no matter your budget it is stressful! Saving for a house, paying for school, and a wedding is crazzzzzzzzy
