I have been in search of a tiara for some time. I have found a couple that I have really liked but my mom really likes this one at my local flea market. I really like it too but its $60. Now I know that is not a lot of $$ but I am on a serious budget. I hate the thought of spending that amount of $$ for one day because I will never wear it again. My sisters cant even use it because they graduated from HS last year and their proms are over Blah, blah.
I guess I am asking...would you spend this much? I mean..I am very tight for $$ so do you think its a good price?

Maybe your sisters can use it when they get married. it can be their something borrowed.... btw you are supposed to borrow something from a happliy married woman so that works out perfect for you )
I don't think $60 is that bad. but if you feel it's too much then you should keep looking. Also think about really pretty necklaces or chockers.. they can be used in your hair as well and might not cost as much. I did that for my prom bc I didn't want a tiara but I wanted something in my hair! It was georgous! I loved it!

i think it totally depends on what you can afford. With most things i bought i have searched for the cheapest one that i still love but there are a few things I have bought regardless, for me the money would be spent on something i can use again.
but i am the cheapest person i know..haha. I say do what you can afford.

Definitely go for it...just cut back on other stuff....one less dinner out would more or less cover the cost of the tiara!

That doesnt sounds too bad, esp if you love it. I saw them one place for $400!!!! (I then went someplace else when i saw the prices). Maybe sell it on ebay when you are done, or save it for your sisters or cousins?

I'm extremely budget concious too, and I don't think that's bad at all. Is it a full tiara or a comb? Because if it's a full tiara, that's a great price. My tiara comb was $50, and I flipped a shiz about it, but the full tiaras were double that even, and this was at David's Bridal, who are very reasonably priced. I know it seems like a lot...but one less dinner or one less movie or one week of bringing lunch definitely helps. That's what we've been doing.

girl, you are asking the wrong person... I didnt even want to spend 60 on mine but then I got a special private consultant with Edward Berger (like in their private salon thats closed to customers) because I bought my dress at Kleinfelds and I fell in love with this tiara that matches my dress perfectly.. of course I had to buy it and they added beads to it for free. but it was like 250
so over my budget

Whats the difference between a full tiara or a comb? Its a tiara on the round band that you place into the hair...if that makes sense lol

I think $60 is pretty reasonable ... I would go for it! I feel like I would always wish I had gotten it if I didn't.

That's a full tiara then...in which case that's a VERY reasonable price. A tiara comb is just the raised part of the tiara, attached on a hair comb, so no band to hold it in place. I would say go for it...worst case scenario, you can sell it afterwards, or let a friend or family member borrow it.

yes. that is correct. A tirara is more like a crown... think of like a headband almost but with a raised area in the front. A comb... is like.. well I hate to say this.. but think of the 80's you know those combs everyone wore in their hair? Like that... but not 80s style.. they are pretty now.. and it's smaller to hold just a portion of your hair. You can get larger ones too. They are different from tiaras.

I think $60.00 is a pretty reasonable price. Maybe you can sell it after you're done with it

Try looking at weddingfactorydirect.com... they have some simple headpieces on there for cheap. I haven't seen them in person but I got my monogram cake topper there and it is beautiful!
