FH & I just redid his mother's 2-family house. We had a contractor do the major work but we really busted our butt with some tough projects. I'm very proud of my super smooth walls, my painting skills and changing of the electrical outlets to name a few!

Just re-did a bathroom in mom's house. We had a contractor who was/is a personal friend.... mistake. He told us the job would take 2 weeks, well six months later it was finally over with. Huge project though, everything from repairing prior water damage, rebuilding the subfloor, to knocking into an adjoining room to put in a jacuzzi tub (I recommend this one ![]()
) and a glass block shower.

We just finished our kitchen (still waiting on the backsplash). Now we're on to the siding. My DH and his friends are siding it themselves.

We added a room addition onto our house and we did not want to vinyl slide it (the rest of the house is brick). So we did Cultured Stones. By ourselves. I absolutely love it, it looks amazing but it was 2 weeks of painstaking work. We should have just hired somebody to do it!
