Re: Your Lifelong Dream?

At one point I was on my way to fulfilling one of my dreams, but now I seem to be losing motivation.

1. Becoming a successful music photojournalist.

2. Opening an animal sanctuary where all kinds of unwanted or hurt animals can come to recover and find new homes.

Well, this is what I tell my shrink! (wink)

1) to be a working actress- not really recognizable, but to always have work :)
2) to write children's stories and illustrate them
3) to open a children's theater and direct them
4) to start my own homemade clothing business

Obviously, they are only dreams!

Dreams I have done:
1)I have been an extra in two movies (marvin's room/waterboy), a video, a dance show TV pilot, and a game show
2) Gotten over my lifelong shyness and learned how to audition for plays, etc. So far I have done 7 on stage as an adult ( I did a couple at Clare Rose in patchogue, if anyone has ever seen shows there!
3) work at walt disney world!
4) graduate college and get a teaching job!

I have always been a dreamer! Sorry this is so long, and boring to everyone besides myself !ha.

There's more than one!

But one of them is similar to dmndgirlie's- have a big ranch/farm to take in strays and abandond animals, only somewhere cold, like Maine.

Another one was to go to Greece- we are going for our HM.

I had always wanted pets growing up and couldn't have them, now I have two cats and a hamster.

So...I've been working on it and getting it done bit by bit.

My dream was to be an actor in Hollywood. Now I'm a writer in Hollywood instead. Not exactly living my dream, but as close as I'm gonna get!

All of my family knows the language, I was the youngest born and I was only taught english. No one cared enough to take the time and patient to teach me the language. I love it so much.

Besides meeting my FH and having children and a healthy, happy family, I always wanted to go to Italy (I teach World History). Early (6 months into dating) we discussed it for the following summer. It was all I ever dreamed and he proposed to me in Rome

I kind of know how you feel. I too want to be fluent in spanish. My FH is from Argentina and his whole family speaks spanish, even is SIL and BIL (who are both Puerto Rican). Then there is me, the German Mutt, who took 5 years of spanish in school and well, can't carry a conversation!
