Your mom and FMIL-dresses

Any of them wear the same color only in a different shade?

my FMIL just emailed me asking if ok to wear blue also, but in a different shade.

both moms and grandmas wore the same color. I like it that way.

I asked my mom about this when they were dress shopping - she didn't care if they both ended up wearing the same color.

I think it's fine, my friend who got married last year had a fit when she found out her MIL was wearing plum while her mom was wearing lavendar.

My mom is wearing black and platinum (I know, so not good luck) so now my FMIL is like well, maybe I'll wear black too! I figure I'll pick my battles, as long as they don't wear the exact same dress.

my FMIL (being who she is!) told me that she wanted to wear a champagne, beige color so i said ok, sounds good. she said she was SET on that color... does not like anything else. we discussed this MANY times.
we are at dinner the other night at my mom and dad's house and she asked my mom what color she was wearing and my mom said i was thinking about navy (my mom has red hair and has a pale skin tone so that's a great color on her). so my FMIL (being who she is!) says to my mom, oh that's the exact color i was thinking of wearing!
so i said oh i thought i remember you saying beige, so she acted like she had NO recollection of that which i know she did and says to my mom--well, you can have first choice, don't let me get in the way of it! i do like beige, i could just wear that.
i mean, why even bother?!!!!
my mom was like alright then! lol

she just annoys me but i think it would be fine especially in a different shade of the same color!

My mom wants to wear black and she's pretty dead set on it. My FMIL wants to wear blue, specifically navy blue, but that is the color of my bridesmaids' dresses. I don't mind her wearing blue but I don't know how I feel about her wearing her the same color as the BMs, especially if my mom isn't wearing it too. FMIL actually emailed my mom and my mom told her I'd have no problem with her wearing blue but it should probably be a different shade.

I love my mom. She knows me so well!

My mom wore black (it made her feel comfortableas shes a bit plus size) and my MIL wore a brown.

My girls were in red and it never crossed my mind to have the moms coordinate or not

Ditto. As long as they look and feel good (and they weren't wearing white) I don't care what they wear!

Ours didn't. But if they did it would not of bother me or my mother.
