PS: I never would wear a pearl necklace except really big events, but I do have nice pearl earrings i love that I got for valentines day

Here's the bind...


It's my big 3-0
It's also Dooney's big 3-0

So i thought I'd get a nice bag with the signature date 1975 on it. I was all set.

THEN I saw that new quilt design which i like but I'm slightly obsessive. If I got that I'd have to get a new wallet type thing. I had matching checkbook, wristlet, key fog and checkbook with my current dooney bag (bought last Dec)

Could I survive until the next sale in Dec for accessories?????

Could I live with getting nothing for my bday (quilt isn't official out until Sept 1)

Could I live with nothing at all since I just bought a $600 quilt I love?

ARGH Im so torn!


PLUS we're going to Duran Duran concert in July
PLUS we're going to Buffalo in Sept
PLUS we're still figuring out what to do for our own anniversary in October

I said to ask for a pearl necklace because handbag trends change but a pearl necklace is something that is timeless and very classy. Look how many people have pearl necklaces that belonged to their mothers and grandmothers. It is something that will look just as nice on your 60th birthday as it does on your 30th.
