Your opinions and advice needed!

Background:

My e-ring is a size 5 1/2, sized to fit me perfectly. Hence, we ordered my eternity band in a 5 1/2 full. When I picked it up, it was SO SMALL. It was so hard to take off!!!! We checked the size and it was truly a 5 1/2 full. The saleswoman in Fortunoff said that she would reorder it in a size 6.

When my FH was trying on rings, I noticed the same band as mine was in the display case, and it was in a size 6 1/2. I tried it on and went on fine and came off with a little resistance. The manager there came over, seeing my frustration and anxiety and suggested that I take the 6 1/2 and she put in the tiny tiffany balls to make it fit a bit more snug.

She also said she would give me until October to change my mind if I still wanted the 6.

Here is the dilema:
It feels weird on. I don't know if it's b/c I am not used to the band and the e-ring, but, I am wondering if I should go smaller. The con I know is that if I gain weight, the ring won't fit but if I keep the 6 1/2 I could always remove the tiffany balls to have more room.

So, it seems like I should keep the 61/2, right? Ahhh, I hate being so anxious over this.

etd to add picture: it is #6

PLEASE keep it as it is now!!! By sizing it, you're going to mess with the diamond settings and then you're going to end up having diamonds popping out...

Believe me, you'll get used to the balls. I also have them on my e-ring. After a while, you won't notice them at all

thanks suven for responding.

i wouldnt size the ring. they would order me a new ring in the smaller 6 size.

did you find wearing the ring with the balls made the ring hit your palm? does that make sense? LOL!

no, no palm hitting...

also, one word of caution. I did that with my wedding band- I purchased the smaller size because I was afraid that it would be too big. And, it drives me crazy because now, from wearing it all of the time, I feel like it gets too tight

Hey wedding twin

I would agree with Suven- I have the balls in my engagement ring and I can't tell theyare there at all.

My engagement ring is probably about 1/2 to a 1/4 size smaller with the balls in it.

ETA- it does not hit my palm

Good luck

i owuld say give it a few days and if you don't get used to it....order a differnet one...of course, that means you have to wear your wedding ring now.....
this is a tough one...

Stick with the 6 1/2 to be safe!!!! The tiffany balls can always be taken out, but it is very costly and difficult to make an eternity band larger!!!!

I would say to go with the slightly bigger size... b/c you can always put those ball thingys in anyway... plus your fingers get bigger in hot weather...
