how are you incorporating your pets into your wedding. i wish my cat could be the flower girl but we all know that would never happen. my aunt bought her a flower girl dress at my engagment party and its sooooo cute. i think i might dress her up and take a picture and have it sitting there at our cocktail hour lol. im so lame but i love my kitty. heres a pic of her in her dress...
its hard to see her because shes gray and its dark out lol but shes in the dress.

There is this new show on TLC called Masters of Reception about a family that owns catering halls in New Jersey. The couple wanted their cats to walk down the aisle but they couldn't do that, so they dressed the cats up in wedding attire and had a photo shoot. Then they put their pictures all over CH. Apparently the groom got harassed about it by his friends lol.

Since I am bringing my fatty home with me to NY bc I dont know who will watch her for 3 weeks between the wedding and honeymoon. I wanted to call the Fox Hollow and ask if the day is nice will they allow me to have her come to the ceremony. I was thinking of having my 5 yr old nephew walk down with her, if we can not follow through with the baby in the wagon. Only problem is i would need to find someone to run her back to my parents house which is 8 min away, directly after our ceremony.
In which reminds me does anyone know of how i can get her home and how much?? She is a chunker (28lbs) And there is noway i can fit her under the seat lmao

can't remember where I saw it (either LIW or The Knot) but someone had dress there dog up in a tuxedo and made that the cover of their guest book.
Or you could also use pictures of the cat as part of your table numbers. Each table can have a different picture of your cat and the table number above it. It will be a fun DIY project for you.

OMG LOL I saw that show! I love my cats, but I think that was even a little too much for me to handle. My FI was watching it with me and said 'please don't tell me you're thinking of doing something like this'. His brothers would NEVER let him live it down!!
I do want to incorporate them into the wedding somehow tho, maybe I'll bring a picture of them to the RH. I'd also like to take a pic with them, but I'm too scared that they will scratch up my dress, so I might just forget about that. Let me know what you decide to do!

I am using my puppy Baby Peach as our table numbers... just got them started and they are coming out really cute
we are going to have a flower dog for our ceremony It has already been confirmed and written in our contract! yay!

I will just be taking picture with the family dogs and cats and my mother actually has to hire a babysitter for them ( they are never left alone for more them 3 hrs) they are very spolied! I think she is having one of my sister friends stay at the house with them!!

Haha, I saw this, too. I like that show! Anyway, I was going to say the same thing. They also have this bandana of Top 10 Reasons why I should've been the best man/MOH. And it says on it:
1. I'm always happy to see him. 2. I always took time for him when no one else would. 3. I never tried to steal his g/f. 4. I never made him stay out too late. 5. I was the first to know they were in love. 6. I always listen. 7. I never judge. 8. I never give bad advice. 9. I always keep his secrets. 10. After the wedding, I'll still be his best friend.
I'm going to dress him up in a tuxedo, make a small thank you sign, tie it to a string and make my doggie hold it in his mouth. I wanna use that pic for my thank you cards!

My mother is making me put my puppy in the kennel for the night of the wedding. This makes me extremely upset to think she will be left alone in a cage at night when she is normally in bed with me sleeping on my arm!!! She says its too long to leave her alone and she might get frightened. I want her to be some of the pictures I take here at home when I get dresses but I think I lost that battle too.
I am glad this is my wedding---I loose a lot of battles lately.
