my cat : SAFFY came from the show AbFAb my dog : LUKIN came from a Pearl Jam song my Dog : TINKERBELL came from a disney world commercial i saw.... no thanks to stupid paris hilton naming her chihushua tinkerbell. :( (mines better anyway!!!!!!)

My cat: Jasmine - we couldn't decide what to call her so we started to yell out names to see which she responded to...
Dog - Mike - My little brother initially wanted to call him Sally (after Sally the Camel) but my parents convinced him that it was not an appropriate name for a male dog, so somehow they wound up with Mike after a vote or something...
Dog - Zoey - Named after brother's friend's kitty who had just died...
Rats - Fonzie (self explanatory) and Joey (Tribiani - my family has a bit of an obsession with friends).
Mice - Mr. Fluff, um, sister thought it was cute. And Conan was named after Conan O'Brian.

Doggie-BK/Brooklyn..well BK is easy, if I am going to be Mrs K and his name is brooklyn! we got the name brooklyn b/c before last friday i had not been to brooklyn since i lived there almost 3 years ago. fh had not been there in about 10 years. where i work should be queens. if i spit, the spit lands in queens. on friday we went to sheepshead bay, i found my dress. on saturday we called some breeders and still ended up at the puppy botique, in bay ridge. hence, the name brooklyn.

Murphy....Just loved that name and being irish, he of course needed an irish name as well!
Shaggy...was this little furball when we first got him..hair everywhere. Its calmed down since we get him groomed but its always in his eyes so its fitting.

RUDY- named after my Grandfather!!! (His name was Rudolf, his nickname was 'Rudy'). He was pretty much the Patriarch of our family, & since none of us will name our children 'Rudolf' , we though naming the dog after him would be just as nice, he was a big dog lover. -FH thinks we named him after the movie 'Rudy'.

my mom named her puppy Jenna, or 'Jenna Louise' if you will..... I dont know, i think thats kinda like naming your dog 'Katherine' lol she likes people names for dogs too... but like i said 'Deborah' just owuldnt fit!

I named my Speedy after the mouse Speedy Gonzales from cartoons I know I have a lot of pictures of her laying around and doing nothing, but she does play a lot and usually only our walls stop her

Max was already named when we adopted him.
Hershey was already named when I got her (although since she is deaf, I guess I could have renamed her if I wanted ... I don't think I ever thought about that before ....)
DH named Bailey before I came on the scene ...

My 3 cats: Terror-because this cat was the biggest terror in the world as a kittne..now hes my 20 lb wonder cat who is the biggest mushiest and well behaved fluff ball Bella-dont know why, it fit, she was a beautiful tiny kittne Sonny- was my moms cat originally and it was Sunny( orange kitty), but somehow FH changed the spelling so it stuck
