It's too late for me to do this, but here's a cool idea for stamps for your invitations. Apparently stamps.com now has a service where you send them a picture and they make legal postage stamps with it to use. It's about 2-3 times the cost of a regular stamp but might be a nice touch if you're looking for that something extra.
I'm surprised you can do this. Don't you have to be dead to appear on a postage stamp?

Now that I think about it, I can still do it for the thank you, depending on our budget (what's left over after the honeymoon), we can use one of our wedding pictures.

Saw it on the news yesterday...... why would I want to send anyone my face on a stamp?? Guess it's cool to make your own picture -- of your venue, your pet, whatever...hm.

My FH just called me a little while ago to tell me about it.... kind of cool. Not sure if anyone would notice it!!! I usually just rip open envelopes. Isn't there a post office in Hicksville where you can hand stamp you letters?? That is kind of nice.

if I got a letter that had someone I know's face on a stamp , i would a) laugh my a*s off and b) think they were a lunatic!!!

Yeah, I know I've used them for our TY cards. I love them! They're so unique and give an elegant, personable touch to Thank You cards and other newly wed correspondence.
