Your shower

Does anyone who plans on being surprised have an idea of when their shower is?? I happened to come across something of my mother's recently and I looked the other way (honestly ) I have a feeling it's the end of July

I know mine is over the summer because my sister can't travel after August (she's pregnant and lives in NC).

I have no clue yet. I tend to think that it will be on a weekend in July or August . But I'm gonna TRY to not registry stalk, I legitimately want to be surprised.

I'm thinking mine is going to be around my niece's communion because my Mom has to fly up for that from FL...it's going to be hard to surprise me I think. But I am going to try and be good and not try and find out. hehe.

i do know when it is but i dont want them to know. I know its in NY and they have to get me there. so i has to be the same weekend i will be down there for already so they dont have to come up with a fake story. with my work, they would never get me there without me knowing

My shower is a surprise but my parents are snowbirds and are in Florida until May 2nd so it has to be any time after that!!

yah i had caught a glimpse of my invite at someones house..and i looked away but i saw the #4 in the date...and sure enough it was april 4th.

i tried so hard to stay surprised but then you kind of have a feeling when you have all these parties to go too..

surprised or not...i was totally overwhelmed with excitement...joy...

I have no clue although I did request to be informed like a week before, Im sorry I am not walking in looking a mess I need to get a pedi, mani and do my hair! Trust me, if I don't plan on going anywhere i look like crapola. I still feel likei t will be a surprise, I wont know exactly who is there and where it is and details

Awww you guys are so lucky! I actually don't think I'm having a shower at all. My mom's not involved in the wedding planning much at all because she's on dialysis 3 days a week and works the other days. My MOH and brides'man both live in Boston and my other bride's maid is in NC. So there's no one around to organize anything. I'm not going to just do it for myself, so it looks like I'll be missing out. Should I say something to someone? Just wait and see if my best friends put something together?


I would totally ask my friends to arrange a shower! Clearly your Mom and MOH's have extenuating circumstances. Even if it's just for the games and your friends chip in on a few gifts- it will be nice Don't miss out- speak up sweetie!
