Your Shower Dress Casual or Dressy? W/ Pic

Are you guys keeping it casual? or do you want to stand out and be a lil dressier than your guests?

I like this dress ( i'd get it in pink since my theme is pretty in pink) but I think it lacks umph I can always add some hot shoes and assc. but what do ya think? My friends have been sending me picks of their dresses....and I dont want to be out done @ my own shower!

I think it's just enough... your shower isn't your wedding, you know? I personally really like the one you posted.

If you dress it up with tons of bling you should be ok then. Do your hair and makeup fancy too!

LOL I know,I know ...I just have this one friend who always has really cute dresses and I already know she'll put out a show stopper for the shower lol I didnt want to look like a guest is all ....

Maybe I should just get a plain dress and a sash!

I'm actually wearing a very similar dress as this to my shower. It doesn't have to be fancy...just nice. Plus, i think the skirt makes it cute and girly...which is exactly what a shower is!

This is the dress I am planning on wearing to my shower. Simple and basic.

ETA: I think your dress is perfect.

I think it's a great dress, especially properly accessorized. You don't want to be toooooooo fancy, and look like a fool, like I'm going to. I originally bought my shower dress to wear to a wedding this summer, but it is not appropriate for an evening wedding, and I didn't want to return it, so I figured I'd wear it to the shower to at least get one wear out of it. I'm going to try to find a crocheted crop cardigan to dress it down a bit, and wear wedge espadrilles.
