yeah I heard that....

you are always going to have people who have things planned on a holiday weekend - thats always one of the 'risks' of choosing that weekend....

but on the other hand it also gives guests something to do for the long weekend, or it allows OOT guests time to get situated....

i think that is silly, who cares if it is a holiday weekend, to me even better to have wedding then, dont listen to people like that

ya i agree, if people can't come, they can't come. life goes on. some people find it more convenient because they are coming in from out of town and get a built in 3 days off in NY. everyone has their own story.

but i kind of think that thread is getting out of hand, so im not going to respond to it.

I'm choosing memorial day so my friend's from college can travel to NY and not have to take a vacation day. Those a precious in the first few years out of school.
