-low fat peanut butter on celery sometimes with raisans

-plain rice cakes with a spoonful of peanut butter

-fat free dip with carrots or whole grain crackers

-popcorn (no extra butter or salt)

-I make trail mix - whole grain chex, dry roasted peanuts, sunflower seeds, raisans, and a few mini M&Ms

one of my favorite snacks is a wedge of laughing cow low fat cheese with almonds (I limit it to 15 almonds)

It's a nice mix of protein and fat that will curb your hunger.

Also great is lowfat yogurt with fruit and granola.

I like to snack on hummus w/ whole wheat pita, carrots and celery w/ low or no fat ranch dressing, rice cakes plain or w/ peanut butter, plain popcorn, hardboiled egg, handful of nuts - that's all I can think of right now. I try to make some snacks the night before and bring them to work w/ me so I can snack a little bit all day and it keeps me from ever getting super hungry.

Nuts are great. Just be careful with how many you eat--the calories add up quickly!

I slice up peppers and dip them in a light peppercorn dressing.

Any other filling snack ideas?

Me too I like almond butter!

Although, I try not to mix fatty foods and carbs, I just have it plain, straight up!

Polly-O string cheese, love it!

yogurt fills me up for a few hours. My favorite Yoplait light, blueberry or peach.

Cottage cheese is also a good one! tons of protien!

I had a yummy, all natural carrot bran muffin today that was so good. It was from Sherry's Place in Babylon. Gluten free sugar free and everything but it really was good.
