Z-100 This morning

Anyone hear the bit? It was a bride to be saying how she told her best friend (also a BM) that she did not want her in the pictures because she is too big. That made me so mad!!
What nerve!!

It $ucks when you have a friend who is so superficial. I had a friend once tell me that she was upset that her FSIL had to be in her wedding because she was so fat she would ruin the pictures. Thats messed up!

She and I had been friends for 24 years (from when we were 4) and I have been heavy my whole life. I was so hurt when she said that to me because that was when I knew why she didn't ask me to be a part of her wedding. At the time I didn't say anything, but as time went on, she said other things that made me feel that way.

Needless to say, I eventually called her on it when I responded NO to her wedding. She said it wasn't the truth, but it was how I felt. I told her she had hurt me. She had no consideration and she lost a lifetime friendship because she had no clue what friendship was truly about.

Just figured I would share.

Actually, I don't want FSIL in the pictures cuz the girl is drop-dead gorgeous She's gonna look better than me

(i'm kidding, by the way. I do love her, but the girl used to model, so, yeah)

Good for you JCMsGirl05!!! You should never let anyone make you feel badly about yourself!! I am so glad that you called her on it. SHe lost a great friend!!! With friends like that, who needs enemies??

honestly, I wouldn't be suprised. I've heard of brides hiring models for their pictures so that they would come out beautiful

Yeah, I think my mom read it somewhere. It's crazy!

Some people are so shallow! My BP is close friends and my 2 sisters. They are all shapes and sizes and I could care less. These are the people I WANT to see in my pictures in 20 years when we look through our albums.

Drives me crazy that some people are that obsessed that they would exclude close friends or go hire 'beautiful' people. Beauty is on the inside people....someday those 'beautiful' looks may disappear!

Z100 also had a phone tap of a girl who called her cousin saying she was dropping out of the wedding because she didn't like how she looked in the dress and that she thought the bride made her wear this so that the bride would look better. It was all a joke, but I would imagine that people actually do that so they look better than their BMs...

Scary people out there.

that was a repeat. I've heard that one at least 2x now. I don't know why they keep replaying it!

I agree, I'm a plus size bride and 4 out of my 7 bridsmaids are also plus suze. These are the people who mean the most to me and who I want with me on my special day. I don't care what they look like, just as on as they are there. People are so shallow.
