Zales

Zales

I placed an order for a wedding band at Zales on 5/31 and they told me to give it 4-6 weeks. I called last week for a status and the associate told me, 'its good that you called bc this allows us to put pressure on the vendor to get the order out. I will call you the next day with an update'. This was Thursday and I have called back twice since then and they keep telling me that they would call me back the next day but they don't.

I placed the order in a Virginia store by my sister. What would you do in my situation?

I would be annoyed by her response. They don't need you to call in order for them to follow up, they should have been doing that anyway. I think all you can do is keep calling them. If you don't get an answer in a week or two, maybe try calling corporate and explain that you are past the window they quoted you and aren't getting a straight answer. Fortunately, you still have plenty of time, so it shouldn't be an issue.

Keep on them!! Or, maybe have your sister go there if it's close.

Definitely keep calling them or have your sister go to them in person. This had happened to a friend of mine a while ago, and she threatened to call the corporate office and complain about the negligence from her store (It is their job to follow up and you don't have to constantly remind them). She got her ring that week. HTH

I was really taken aback by what he said actually. I don't know why do I have to call for production to actually start happening.

I am glad I have plenty of time. I know it'll get here sooner or later. I already emailed corporate my issue.
