that's great!! and such a wide range of dialects!! my grandmother spoke 5 different languages- Finnish (first language), swedish, russian, german & english. She always said german was her favorite. In Europe its so common to know several languages, unlike us lazy americans.....just kidding!!! I am a lazy american!! lmao

i think thats one of americas biggest flaws - we dont teach enough different foreign languages, we should diversify things up

lol!!! that's funny!! yeah from what I do know of finnish, I know quite a few choice phrases that mommy probably shouldn't have taught me (ok ok, so that stuff I learned from my mom yelling at my dad in finnish!! lol)

im using joe from amore photography in bklyn he's really nice and helpful, he did my sister in laws wedding in 05. teh only thing i would've researched more is how many pics he takes - im jealous of those who are getting 1200 pics back, he said i'll have between 300 to 500 - and i love pics...but i also tried to be on budget so i guess everything works out

if you get 300-500 beautiful pictures (like your e-pics!!) then you'll be fine. my sister used a budget photographer and she got 300 extremely posed pictures and she didn't really get many candid shots of her & my BIL. Just seeing your e-pics I can tell your photographer will be much better than what my sister had!!! I'm using Duet, and I think we're guaranteed 750 printed proofs, even though they take more than that. I'm obsessed with pictures, so I will probably print all the proofs out once I get the disc and put them in an album. But honestly the ones you pick for your album will be what you look at most, so don't worry if you get less than what other girls do, as long as they are quality pics that's all that matters.

i told him that im not a bridezilla but when it comes to pics, i have standards that must be met... i told him to consider himself warned!!!!

HA! lmao!!! we've been together for over 6 years I'm shocked we still look so loving lol!!!! We're one of those couples who everyone laughs when we bicker b/c we're like an old married couple already. but we had a great time at our e-party.....we weren't going to have one, but I'm really glad we did. thanks for the compliments!!! I loved that dress....I got it for like $40 at Loehmann's!!! unbelievable!

LOL!!!! you definitely have to communicate what you want, b/c I've heard some brides say that they wished they had said something to their photographer b/c then their pics might have been different. so at least you warned him now and not later!!

and if he's using digital now, you will probably get more proofs, b/c it won't matter how many pics he takes since its not costing extra for film.

yeah, my true side came out when i gave him my last deposit - i paid in full and he was a bit hesitant but i told him no need to wait to finish payment b/c hes guaranteed me great work and i expect nothing less...lol
