Zip Lining! YAY!!!

FH and I were just on the webpage for the resort we are staying at in Brazil for our Honeymoon, and they updated a few things. Now they offer pitch and putt golf and ZIP LINING!!!! Included in the room rate!! We are so excited because we have always wanted to go zip lining!!

Has anyone been? Im a little nervous, but i know I have to do it! Im not sre if it is through the trees or where they have you launch from somewhere into the water.

Thats awesome that its included in the rate now. I've never been, but am soo looking foward to doing it on the HM too. I'm sure its a bit scary at first but its gotta be amazing!

zip lining is soooo much fun! I did it in Whislter Canada between Whislter and Blackcomb mountains and it was incredible. They usually let you do a practice run on a small line and that helps because it is a bit scary. But after the first one you won't want to stop! Have fun!!

A cruise and Costa Rica. We'll probably do the zip lining while we stop off in St. Lucia.

That will be a great trip!! FH and I had been saying we would go to costa rica so we can do zip lining there. Thats supposedly an amazing place to do it! St. Lucia is prolly awesome too!!

We were thinking about doing it there. We figured there is so much other stuff we want to do there, and not as much in St. Lucia. Now you have me thinking about it

i did zip lining and rappelling in belize. i didn't like it.. i think i would have if it was in a more controlled environment. but it was in the belize jungle about 100 ft over the jungle with no safety net... icried the entire time.. no practice run, and once u did the first one u had to do the rest to get down.. no other way down..

i'll give u this one hint and it's not meant to scare anyone. but tuck up ur hair.. SeriOUSLY.. in a bun, tight.. not in a ponytail. this one little girl bout age 14, had a long ponytail, and it got caught in the zipline. she got jerked back by her hair and was stuck hanging over the belize-ean jungle waiting for a worker to come out to release her hair.. by the time they got down her AND her father was in tears... thre was nothing he could do to save her.

dh got caught on some nearby trees and scraped his arm all up. i would've felt bd for him but i was to busy being pissed that he got me into tht in the first place.. we did it on a stop on a 7 day cruise and i swear i didn''t speak to him for 2 days afterwards.. i had never been so scared in my life.. i kept thinking bout my daughter and how was my mom going to explain to her that i died zip lining over the belizean jungle..

so sorry to hear that! Sounds like the company you went with didn't have their sh*t together. Definitely research the company before going. If they do everything right, then its a great time

nah.. there is def no zip lining authority of belize to over see and maintain safety ad health for zip liners.. honestly though.. if done properly in a safer environment.. i'd prob try it again... the rappelling i don't know though.. that was scarier to me than the zip lining..

They made you repel?!! Good lord you were on the ride from hell!

YES>. i tell u it was horrible.. with tears in my eyes.. lol. i increased my life insurance when i got home..and like i said u HAD to finish once u started.. no way down but to finish the course.. it was hell..

i did that at frost valley? does that count?

I loved Frost Valley! I went in 7th grade and its one of my fondest memories of junior high!
