My 11/23/05 Chateau La Mer Review

Well here it is!! I can't believe I'm actually writing my review!!!

Dress: Maggie Sottero Katherin - 10

Macy's in Smithaven Mall: 9 Pricewise, they were great because they price matched, but I had to loose a point because it always took a while to actually be seen.

Hair: Lauren from Racine's Hair Studio in Islip - 10 It was EXACTLY what I had wanted and it stayed in all night!!!

Makeup: Jacqueline from Jacqueline Nicole - 10 - she is ABSOLUTELY amazing!!! What a wonderful person!!! Even after she was done doing my makeup, she took pics for me while I was getting dressed. She's wonderful! My makeup stayed on all night and it was very natural!!

Slip: Ebay - 9 Loved the way it looked, but it ripped at the end of the night

Jewelry: Flea Market in Sayville, NY - 10 PERFECT!

Limos: Serenity Limousine - 10 On time and just very nice and easy to work with!

Flowers: Copaigue Florist - 8 Nice to work with, but brought one of the boutineers to the wrong place and the flowers weren't as 'Big' as I had hoped. Pricewise, they're amazing

DJ: Tommy Tunes - 10 Always wonderful! I knew they would be amazing! Everyone was dancing the entire night!

Honeymoon - Aruba - 10 I can't wait to go back! We stayed at the Renaissance which is a Marriott hotel. The location is great. Right in town... I loved it!

Photography - Velvet Studios - 9 I can't give a 10 becuase I don't even have my proofs back yet, but so far so good... they're wonderful!

Chateau La Mer - On a scale of 1-10, they are an 11!!!!!!!!!! They were absolutely unbelievable... just like I knew they would be. Anything I wanted it was done before I even asked. They run around and treat you like you are royalty and make sure that the guests are always taken care of. No problems with them at all. We got an amazing price and even got to use the boat arrival! They go above and beyond and they are all about good food, good price, and above all personalized service. I couldn't have asked for more!

Congratulations! I m so happy to hear that you had a great experience with CLM and TT as I will be using them myself! Do you have any pics for us? Did you have the sundae bar or chocolate fountain? How was the cake, did you get it from Black forest bakery???

I attached thelink of the pics that I have so far. The cake was gorgeous!!! I don't have any good pics of it yet... but we ordered it from the other bakery that CLM uses... Campbell's. Ask about them... for some reason CLM always pushes Black Forest and never mentions Campbell's. The cake was amazing and I combined two pictures of two different cakes to make my own.. it was fondant too and totally included! It was really beautiful! Very elegant!

Here's a pic ... you really can't see it very well... but it had beautiful pink and white fondant flowers cascading down the side of the cake.

It is so wonderful to hear such great things. I am so happy you have the best time of your life at CLM. Its funny you say about black forrest bakery, b/c I went to see CLM last night and met with lou and I asked him what bakery he used and he said Black Forrest...LOL You look beautiful !!! We are going to Aruba for my honeymoon as well.
