My Huntington Town House Review. 10/21 updated with more pics on page 2

Wow! Where do i begin? It was amazing!!

First of all just want to say that everything really does fall into place. I was so worried about everything
HUNTINGTON TOWN HOUSE: BIG F
The day of my wedding started of with me having a heated discussion with Steven Silver, about kids under 6 paying half price. He is the most arrogant man i have ever met. There is more to this. When we arrived a the hall, the lights were not turned on in the yard, there were cleaners with brooms sweeping outside, They even had someone fixing one of the chandeliers while we were taking our pictures in the lobby. Now some of my pics have someone in the backround on a ladder. The light in the ladies room wasn't working.
They had to use the bathroom in the dark, until my dad finally told someone to fix it. Some ladies had to use the men's room because of this. I don't what to say about this place. The only good thing i have to say it that the food wasn't that bad. Their service was horrible.

Bridal Suite Of Centereach- (BM dresses): B
They forgot to mention that the dresses might not come in the excact shade that i ordered, and they charged one BM just because they lined her dress with chalk. Everything eventually fell into place, and the dresses were beautiful.

Paradise Bridal( My gown) : A
They were great. My dress came on time, and it was gorgeous. I added caped sleeves at my mother's request and they turned out beautiful. The only reason why they didn't get an A+ is because when my mother went to pick up the dress they charged her more for the alterations then they were suppose to. The bill was more than my mother expected.

Wrap With Us ( Favors): A
I got my cookie cutter favors and table place cards holders from them. They looked great. The only little problem i had was that they printed the wrong date on the ribbons, and i had to wait 20 minutes so they could reprint them.

Sada ( Hair and Makeup) : B
She was so sweet, and did a great job on my hair. My sister is very difficult when it comes to her hair, so Sada had to spend alot of time on her. Even though my sister gave her a hard time, she was very proffesional. I wasn't too happy with my makeup, because u can see the makeup dripping when i was crying. It looked better when i had the trial. I guess she was so upset with my sister, that when she got to me she had lost all of her patience.

Michelle Nocella ( Day of Coordinator) A
She was so sweet and on top of everything.
I would highly recommend her. She kept me calm during my issues with the Town House. I'm happy that i hired her.

Make U Dance Entertainment: B
I met this DJ through the town house. He was very patient and tried his best. We are christians so we asked him to give us a great party with mostly christian music. I also gave him a very detailed song list which he barely played. After the many conversations we had with him we really expected more from him.

Terrenova Florist ( Baldwin) B
I only used them for my personal flowers and church decorations. The bouquets were nice, but not what i asked for. Everything looked beautiful. The churched looked great, even though its not what i asked for.

Invitations ( scrollinvitations.com ): A
What can i say about my invites? They were gorgeous! Everyone loved them and kept saying how they made such an impression. I am so happy that i did scroll invites.

Victorian Candles( Centerpieces): A
They were gorgeous! They arrived safely and quickly. The only little problem was that some of the taper candles couldn't stay straight. I ordered candlelabras.

JungJung Photography: A+ for the day of.
I had Young as my photographer and she is so sweet to work with. I'll give more details when i get my proofs.

The Dj provided me with a videographer. I get my video next week, so i can't rate him yet.

Flowergirl dresses (EBAY) A+
Beautiful and inexpensive. They all arrived quickly .

Tuxedos- After Hours: B+
Two of the GM received the wrong vest and they gave DH the wrong pants(which he actually liked better than the one he initially ordered). Besides that, they were great. The staff was very helpful.

Programs, menus( ME) A+.
I am a little bias. They really turned out great.
I stayed up till 5 in the morning putting them together and i am so proud of how they turned out.

flowergirl baskets ( My Mom) A+
I had so many baskets that i collected over the years and they sure came in handy. My mom covered them with satin that she got from Joanes and walmart. They looked so pretty.

Serenity Limo: A. They were actually my best vendors. They were on time, they even upgraded one of the limos for free. They were awesome!!

I really am so grateful to this site. I have learned so much, and don't think i could of ever planned this wedding without it.
Everyone has been so helpful with their honest opinions and great advice. I had a beautiful wedding and could not ask for more.
God has trully blessed me, and for that i am eternally grateful.

I agree - despite the problems you had with HTH, you were glowing and looked gorgeous! Congratulations to you and your new hubby!

I just want to say Steven is the reason why my sister didn't book her wedding there 3 years ago. I've gone to other functions there and they were great. But he needs to work on his people skills!
