Wow, everything sounded great. I'm glad you had such a great experience with CLM. It definitely still makes them a contender with me. I'm going to the taste-testing tomorrow.

Im adding something to Vouch for MrsWask's review. Her flowers were amazing but this guy from Jack and Rose was seriously stalking her to sign off on the flowers, she was taking pictures and would not leave her alone. It was extermely inconvenient and annoying, especially on a day when you are trying to savor every moment. She was also forced to sign this contract that said she would not say anything negative about the flowers or anything else from jack and rose. I felt that was completely unfair, and the fact that the guy stalks you toill you sign it was BS to me. I mean what bride isnt going to sign it because at that point you are just trying to get rid of the guy, to me it sounds almost unconstitutional, and at that time you are not in the right state of mind to sign such a thing. I mean what if all the flowers died after that guy left and she signed the paper that she couldnt say anything negative about them how is that fair. Im sorry but I thought it was soooo shady and extremely unprofessional to do to a bride on the day of her wedding, im glad i didnt use them.

I am quoting this b/c I wanted to say that I know exactly what Mrs.Wask went through b/c J & R did the same thing to me on my weddingday DH and I were in the bridal suite and maitre'd comes up to us and says that the florist needs us to sign some papers. I REFUSED to sign the papers since I didn't waste one minute of my wedding day esp. since I had already signed 10 pieces of paper when the guy came to my house to deliver my personal flowers. Our maitre'd actually had to kick the guy out b/c he was so harassing and annoying. BUT he came back towards the end of the night and would NOT leave until someone signed the papers he had. My DH ended up signing a sheet of paper. He didn't tell me about it until the next day b/c didn't want me to get pissed off. If I had to do it over again, I would not have gone with J & R. What they did on the wedding day was TERRIBLE

That's horrible. All paperwork should have been signed BEFORE your wedding day. On top of taking pictures, greeting guests, and actually ENJOYING your wedding, you shouldn't have to 'take care of business' too.

Beautiful pictures Michal! I am sad that it will probably be too dark for our wedding to have such beautiful outdoor pictures!

I thought of another question... where did you get your cake from, what kind of stuff did you get and did they charge you anything for it? I know Vanessa had a difficult time with Black Forest but the people I work with got theirs from there and had no problems... just wondering where is the better place to go!

Excellent review and very honest!!!
Your wedding was amazing! The day, although it rained in the morning, couldnt have been more perfect. The blue skys came out right in time to take your beautiful picts! You looked amazing! Your gown, your hair, and makeup were perfect!
I loved your photographers! They were a riot, they were making us laugh the entire time. They also knew the entire wedding party by name.. which I thought was awesome!
The flowers were beautiful! You had the biggest bridal bouquet I have ever seen!
I LOVE Nick from Chateau La Mer! I have never ever seen service like this before. He bent over backwards to make sure that you were happy. If anything bothered you, it was fixed with in moments. Your bridal attendant was also very sweet!
The chocolate fountain that they surprised you with was a BIG HIT!!!! All the guests were SWARMED around it like bees!
The music was so much fun! They had people up and dancing all night!
Chateau La Mer was so beautiful! I loved how your ceremony outdoors right on the water. What a beautiful view that could be seen even in your reception room.
All in all it was a perfect day! I am so happy that I got to be part of it and be there from beginning to end!

Sorry you had a prob with Duet but thanks for the warning!!! I love the photojournalistic shots - that's why we booked them! BUT FH still prefers traditional pics. We also have a HUGE family that we NEED them to take pics of soooo I'll definitely take this into account when we meet with them before the wedding! Hope everything works out for you and PLEASE let us know what happens!!!
