May 9th Westbury Manor Full Review (and pics& HM pics added)

WM- A ceremony and reception
everything was amazing. Raul our maitre'd decorated our cake when the florist did not. Moria, my attendant was good, except i stopped getting drinks around 3pm. Had to get them myself. She also screwed up my bustle and wouldn't get my MOH when I asked her to. SO I was in the 80 degree bathroom for a half an hour. I was so annoyed.
And raul decided to tell me there was a chance of rain and had to decide right then and there if i wanted the ceremony outside or inside. Meanwhile I was JUST about to see DH for the first time. So in our pics I look tense and not at all happy... which i wasn't. he really ruined that moment.
Food was great, i made sure i ate. Everyone said it was great! grounds were beautiful but the peacock decided to pipe in during the ceremony. It was pretty funny.

Bellarino and Patken- they were great to work with but i'll will finish theirs when i get the final product. People said they didn't even realize Phil was there (video). The light is not bright at all.

Burtons- B- (changed it after thinking about it more)
the flowers were beautiful, but i had a couple complaints. I didn't think i was supposed to get pink roses in my bouquet (could be my mistake) and there were more roses than hydrangea, when i wanted more hydrangea, AND it should have had more white than pink if we did agree to have pink. He also didn't stick around to decorate the cake, but our maitre'd did a great job. And since they didn't wait for us to get there, they got no tip. Oh well. But my bouquet was still beautiful and the centerpieces were gorgeous.
ETA---- the throwaway bouquet was god awful!!! it was so ugly!!!! so you may want to be specific with what you want... i assumed that it would be SIMILAR to mine (at least a couple roses). But it was white carnations, or something, and just UGLY!!

Whitestar limo- A++
on time, clean (but a little musty smelling). and we got a white stretch for pickup when we booked the smaller black limo to save money. So they gave us the nicer one for no extra cost. very nice!! the driver was very friendly.

Rabbi Glatzer- D
didn't get an F because he showed up. If you get a rabbi through WM make sure you get Erlich and not this guy. He made no effort to collaborate with my uncle (the minister). So my uncle arranged the whole ceremony... it was amazing. ANd he asked for the $20 for the ketubah before we signed it, ON CAMERA!! so that'll be a nice extra on our video. He couldn't wait till after the ceremony. Jerk!!! We will complain. also, we told him in the beginnign it was interfaith. then a month before the wedding we were going over it with him and DH was like 'but this is interfaith', and he goes 'oh it is? i thought it was a jewish ceremony' real thorough this guy!

JN- A+
did a great job. everyone said i looked beautiful. I couldn't tell because im not used to so much makeup. she was a lifesaver, she woke me up when she called when the hotel alarm didn't go off. whew!!!

Taralei- A+
great job on all of us.

Sandals Ocho Rios- A-
everything was amazing, but the food could be a little better (reason for the minus) and the 'club' played crappy music, so that was eh. But i found some new favorite drinks! and the stuff we did there was a lot of fun. ill show pics of htat too.

ETA-
DJ's Unlimited- A
they were great. they should get an A+ but they played the wrong song for our recessional (not as bad as if they screwed of processional). ANd they started playing an AC/DC song (on do not play list). Also didn't play a lot of stuff i wanted to hear (i.e. said play some freestyle, they played ONE freestyle song. Play some 80's, don't remember any 80's... then again i could have been elsewhere when they played it) But the MC was great, very lowkey, and the DJ apologized for playing ac/dc, the mc told him after he put it on, and it was taken off pretty quickly (and smoothly). So no biggie really. All in all they did a great job.

rehearsal dinner- Aunt Bellas A+
everything was sooooo good!! and we all had so much fun!! DH (and the groomsmen) LOVED the Shea stadium grooms cake! HUGE HIT!! and DH was surprised that i got him the baseball cufflinks. He loves them!
