My July 11th Woodbury CC Review...

Hello Everyone,
I know its been a long time, even though I was mostly a silent member. If it wasn’t for this site, I wouldn’t have known what to do. Thanks so much for all your help and support. This time has just flown by but the memories will last forever. The one thing I learned is that no matter how much planning you do, that day is going to happen and things will fall where they may but once you realize what is happening before your eyes (marrying the man of your dreams) nothing else will even matter. When my husband came to take me from my fathers arms with tears streaming down his face, its then that I saw that he had a love for me far greater than I imagined and I was the luckiest girl in the world and no matter what happened today I was marrying the man of my dreams, now here is a review of my day:

Woodbury Country Club – A++++++++
They were just awesome. From the moment we got there, we were taken care of. My bridal attendant was just there every minute with snacks and drinks for us while we took our pictures and she stayed around up until the day was over. The landscaping was unbelievable. Flowers at full bloom just like a picture perfect painting. The sun was beaming down and it created the most wonderful atmosphere perfect for a wedding. They greeted my guests with champagne while they waited to be seated for the ceremony, had everything in place and nothing left undone. The cocktail hour from what I heard was unheard of. Food Galore! Our bridal attendant brought my husband and me a little of everything in our suite after the ceremony and we were stuffed when we were introduced into the reception. The waiters were at everyone’s service the whole time. The food was on time and wonderful. They made us a 4 tier basket weave cake that was just so beautiful. Before I continue I have to highlight one thing about the ceremony….

“Dove Release” by Macy @ White Wings –A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
MACY IS AWESOME!!! She was the easiest vendor to work with. She had everything under control. If you had any qualms about this, she will put them to rest. Her doves are so beautiful, so well trained and extremely well behaved. She was on time and set up the love birds outside by the gazebo with the basket of doves next to them. After the ceremony she wheeled them right in the aisle so we could walk right over to them. When we released the first basket, three doves flew out to represent my son, my husband, and me. What was so cute was that one of them started to go the other way and the minister remarked that it was the teenage bird because they always want to do their own thing, and everybody just laughed. Then we released the other basket with the ten birds, which represented the love and support for us. They flew in a circle above us and then left. It was such a breathtaking and meaningful way to end our ceremony and left our guests speechless. I would highly recommend this to anyone. She acted as if she was just a guest, so discreet about how she did business. She made sure to come in to see me when she came and also right before she left. The birds made such a nice addition to the scenery and added that extra special touch to the whole ceremony. I can’t say enough about Macy because she kept in touch with me before the wedding and even after the wedding. FM me if you want contact or any other info.

Jack and Rose Florist – A+++++++++
Jack was just unbelievable. He knew what he wanted the whole time. Even from being out of state and planning I had no worries with jack. The roses were gorgeous as well as the bouquets, the cake, and the ceremony. There set up time was on point as it should have been and my flowers didn’t have a tinge of wilt or discoloration throughout the hot weather. Jack is definitely the best when it comes to the art of decorating!!!!


Cruise Control Limos - A+
They were great, on time before and after the ceremony. Just be careful when getting out the car and your dress brushing up against the tire. That's where your bridal emergency kit would have to come in, take it from me. it wasn't the drivers fault, he just warned me a little to late.


DJ – FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
He absolutely sucked!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don’t even want to talk about it. Girls take it from me, do your homework and spend the money because you could be sorry. He is not a vendor so you won’t run into him. He was actually family and that made it even worse. Sometimes strangers are your best bet when handling business but thank god that woodbury was so awesome with the way they treated my guests, no one noticed. My dj probably wouldn’t have played my songs if I hadn’t given him my cd’s. okay let me stop now…….

Frantz Photo Studios – A++++++++++++
Wonderful!!! They were at my house on time taking pictures and never stopped clicking. They even took pictures for my guests and put them in little frames for them the same day throughout the reception. They were definitely a hit. I didn’t get the photos back but from the photos they took of other people, I am excited to see mine.

Dresses – A++++
David’s Bridal – My dress came months before expected and fit to size.
Pearl’s Place – My girls dresses came in the time they said they would come and they were very inexpensive and just beautiful. They were Jordan dresses.

Honeymoon – Aruba – AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA+++++++++++
I couldn’t say enough about this place. Everything was great, the cruises, the party buses, the food, etc. We stayed for a week at Divi Village and rented a car which you MUST do in my opinion. We did almost everything there was to do. You must do the sunset cruise, the tattoo, the kuku kunuku, the jetski, and the ATV tour. They get pricey but worth every penny. I can’t say enough about Aruba, the beaches, the people, the weather. Girls you must go!!!!!!

All in all it was a day that went by fast and a honeymoon that went even faster but the memories are priceless and they will last forever. I am the happiest woman on earth and I have my family and that is what means the most to me. Just remember plan away but when that day comes its just all about you and your husband………Happy Planning!!!

omg I am so sorry about the DJ we all want a perfect day... but thankfully everything else was great, congratulations post some pictures for us

Thanks a lot, needless to say it haunted me for a while but i don't think anyone noticed because we had the open bar and woodbury fed them so much food, i mean even me and my husband couldn't eat our main course. he was such a minor part of it but to me ofcourse its bigger.

see this is what I was afraid of, my friend has a cousin that is a videographer I was considering it for a while, he would probably gives us a discount... but then I figured I will go with someone else even if I have to pay more because after the wedding if I didnt like the video I would be screwed you know, wouldnt want lose a friend over it....
but it is sad that not everything turned out as you pictured it but I am sure it was a beautiful wedding

well i think something is always going to happen in the bride's eyes because we focus on the little things while everyone looks at the big picture. just remember to keep that in mind.

I'm glad to hear a davids bridal review get an A 9 was in on LI?) b/c I'm thinking of getting my dress there!
