Dress & Bridesmaids dresses: Lynbrook Bridal Center: D
They were fine when I went to try on and buy the dress, but I guess once the sale was done they couldn’t care less. We walked in to look for bridesmaid dresses and I had a picture from a magazine. The lady took and goes, We’ll we don’t care this brand. (Nasty) I asked, “Do you have anything like it?” and she goes, “You can look thru the racks” gee thanks for the help. We did end up ordering the dress from there. I got a call before Christmas from them that they were “renovating” and needed me to take my dress. And I’d bring it back for alterations, few days after that I heard that they were going out of business. I called and they just kept saying “were renovating” I had my MOH who lives near there stop buy – when she asked them outright they finally admitted they were going out of business, but they assured us that the BM’s dresses would come in. But I hear that they are under new management, so I’m not sure.




Alterations-European Tailor, Lynbrook: A
She did an amazing job! She was so easy to work with! Had about 4 fittings, she took her time making sure everything was right! I love my bustle!!






Make-Up: DIY
I did my make-up myself- so I’ll just list the make up I used.

Foundation: L’Oreal Liquid Dream Foundation & Bare Essentials Foundation.
Both were great!! I used the liquid first and then the bare essentials, they stayed on all day, didn’t have to reapply once!
Eye shadow: Almay iColor Shadow “Bring out the Brown”
I love these eye shadows, they’re great! I use them daily, but for the wedding I just put it on a little heavier for pictures.
Eyeliner: Bare Essentials Eyeliner in “Now”
I love their eyeliners, Instead of using water to apply the liner I used their “Weather Everything” solution, it makes the liner waterproof-again stayed on all day!
Mascara: Bare Essentials Weather Everything Black
Great!!
Lips: L’Oreal Infallible Lip Color “Thistle”
Love it! Stayed on, didn’t rub off on DH!
I was happy that you were able to see my makup far away in pictures and it didn’t look cakey in close ups.



Ceremony & Reception Hall Fox Hollow: A+++

Before day of: We booked fox hollow 3 days after we saw it. It was amazing! It was everything we were looking for. All our meetings have been pleasant! We got a call
the night before our wedding day & it was Fox Hollow letting us know that since the weather was suppose to be beautiful that the outside ceremony area was available if we wanted it. They were really on top of things.

Day of: It was amazing. When we arrived we were greeted by our Maître ‘D and my bridal attendant. Both were amazing! Everything was timed perfectly, and I felt so stress-free.

Our guests that arrived early were brought into the Rose Hunt Restaurant and given Coffee & Danishes (we had a morning wedding). The Ceremony room (the Lantern Room) Was set up beautifully! The flowers they provided were gorgeous!!!



The ground were stunning I’m so happy we got to take our pictures outside! The color of the flowers, the gazebo all made great backdrops!



The service was excellent they had bottles of wine on all the tables, an open bar with premium alcohol. All our guests said the food was amazing! They had a choice of 7 different dinner choices.



We stayed in a room at the Inn next door that night, it was amazing!! Beautiful rooms!!

Working with Paul is great! We got all the family pictures done before the ceremony & took some more of just DH and I during the reception. During the ceremony & reception I hardly knew he was there! Our proofs are amazing! When we got back from the honeymoon they were up on the website for us to look at. And about a week later we had all our 4x6 proofs to pick up. We got so many compliments on our pictures!! I can’t recommend Paul Marino enough!!!!

Videographer: ProCam: A
Roy was great to work with! He was there for everything, even the pictures taking before the ceremony! But he wasn’t in the way, which is exactly what we wanted! He wasn’t in everyone’s faces with the bright light!


Florist: Verbena: A+
Our flowers were beautiful! Just like our sample! We took pics before the ceremony and my bouquet and the girls bouquets got there just as we were getting ready! Jen was great to work with! She produced exactly what we described to her! We got so many compliments on the centerpieces!! The cake decorations were beautiful as well!!




DJ: Music By Michael: A
Michael was great! He played all the songs we wanted to hear. He was laid back but read the dance floor & our guests and knew what to play!



Invitation’s: DIY I’m so happy with how the invites came out. I’m a graphic designer and I couldn’t see paying someone to do exactly what I do for a job, I had the invites printed at work.






Wedding Bands: DH’s – Whitehall Jewelers – A
DH got a tungsten ring, its great! Its super strong and really comfortable!

My Ring: Jeweler in Tri County – A
I wanted a ring that would shape around my engagement ring, but didn’t want to pay for a custom ring so when I found this one and it was a perfect match I was so happy!




Esquire Tuxedos – A
They were great to work with, every tux place we went to they either just had pictures of the tuxes or really old samples. We were happy that Mike actually worked with us, bouncing ideas around with us. Twice he ordered samples for us and called us in to look at them




Favors – DIY & Favor Favor.com - B
We did a cookbook & a heart shape measuring spoon set. I loved how the book came out, I printed & bound them at work, and everyone loved them! The spoons were really good quality, the only thing we ran into was you need to order them in 20’s and we have about 16 left over that we knew we would need. The thing that bothered me was the company is located right in Syosset but there warehouse is somewhere else.


Honeymoon – Iberostar Grand Rose Hall Jamaica – A++++++++++++++++++++
It was amazing!! The rooms were beautifully, if felt like an apartment. We had a huge bathroom with two sinks, separate shower and tube. The bedroom area, then a sitting area and desk area, and a balcony. The beach was gorgeous, they had cabanas on the beach and by the pools. A swim up bar. The restaurants were great, a gourmet, an Italian, Japanese, & surf and turf restaurants. Our hotel was adults only, but if you stay at this one you have access to the other two iberostars right next door, which other pools & restaurants. They had a Jamaican Jerk barbecue on the beach once a week. They offered mini catamarans and kayaks. DH went snorkeling right off the beach, he also did parasailing.
