4th of July Wedding - QUESTION! Please help :)

Is it more difficult to get certain services on the 4th of July?

From my experience, it is a popular time to get married, and this year particularly, we were very busy. Also, certain vendors may choose to forego working that weekend to spend with their families (but this is random and not scientific, most vendors will work on holidays and pick and choose which ones they would like to be off). Given the popularity of the time, I would opt to book early if you are considering this time frame.

July 4th weekend always books early for me and is one of my most popular.

In my experience certain vendors will be harder to book. For example: if you are having an outdoor wedding, catered, with wait staff, tent etc. The staff will want to get paid holiday pay. You will have to book all your other vendors early. Especially your rental items. Tent companies need that date booked at least 6 months in advance.

If you are planning on having your wedding in a banquet hall I'm sure you will need to book that at least a year ahead of time.

Valentine's weekend, Memorial Day weekend, 4th of July, Labor Day weekend- all go first!! Book your vendors much earlier than you think so you have the most options. July 3rd is a big date as well and it doesn't matter what day of the week it falls on because everyone/mostly everyone is off the next day.
