Alterations Question????????

I am really down to the wire as far as time goes and my dress is still being altered.....I am about 90% sure that it will still be too big when I try it on!! The people doing the altering did not want to take it in in the first place and I feel like they are not listening to me.

My question is ---What do I do on such short notice as far as finding another alterer and How do I handle everything with the place I purchased the dress from???
