trucks that go to weddings at the end to give away food...

Hi and congratulations,

While beginning your new life together with an act of kindness and generosity is a lovely idea, I don't think it's legal to collect and redistribute the leftovers. However the people to ask would be Long Island Cares.

What might be helpful and I am sure they would come and pick up would be if you asked your guests to bring food donations to your wedding. Another idea would be instead of favors a direct donation - tax deductible. Food drive and donation information is on their website.

In the time of your greatest joy it is wonderful that you are considering the less fortunate.

Sorry for the confusion. I actually meant like a food truck that will give away food to our guests. Kind of like a confession stand truck!

That I haven't heard of. However you are a Larkfield Bride, and with the fabulous CH they put out, I'd be surprised if your guests can even eat all their dinner. lol!
