register for your engagement party? I thought you were only suppose to register for your shower! The invitations are out and I haven`t registered anywhere. At my FH`s sister`s party, everyone just gave her $$ and I`ve pretty much given $$ as well at other engagement parties I`ve been to. We didn`t even think of registering for gifts this early on.
Just wondering...any advice would help. Thanks as always.

From my experience I definitely think you should register for your engagement party. I think most guests buy off the registry for engagement party and shower and give money for the wedding. If you don't register, people might buy you frames and vases that you didn't pick out and it may be too much. Although I have heard that people give money sometimes for the engagement party, most that I have experienced do not. Hope this helps, good luck.
