Have any photographers taken pictures there? I am getting married in September and am looking for someplace either in the Oyster Bay or Lake Ronkonkoma area to take pictures that doesn't charge a fortune. Any suggestions indoors or out would be appreciated.

Planting Fields is a good choice w/lots of spots for varying photographs. The fee is $95 (call 516-922-9200 for a permit.) There's also a park near Glen Cove and any small park in the area would be fine, depending on what's important to you.

If you are near Ronkonkoma, then Bayard Cutting Arboretum is a great choice, and there is no fee.
From both locations you lmention, you are near many lakes and beaches also. On our website, you
will see photos from both arboretums and well as other terrific outdoor and indoor locations not
at a catering hall.
