Band AND DJ???

Is it possible to have both at a wedding and has this been done before? I was thinking about doing band before dinner and then after dinner a DJ. Would any company do this or does anyone know a company that has?

When you have a minute, contact Stan Wiest at (631) 754-0594, I'm sure he can provide you both types of entertainment you're looking for, and, many bands can also play your favorite CD's throughout the affair, which would avoid you from paying for both services individually.

Yes! Many people opt for that! My band has played with many different DJ's on many occasions. We actually have worked very well with DJ company, a vendor on this site, Dr. Dance Entertainment. It is very classy, actually, and what we usually do is go back and forth, you wouldn't have to pick one for before and/or after dinner. Check you forum mail!

This can definitely be done provided the DJ and the Band coordinate the time performing and the music to be played. I have several excellent DJ's that can coordinate with my personal band as well as with the bands from my office. Also many of the bands have DJ set up so that everything can be combined with the band. Check your forum email.

We actually specialize in BAND/DJ combination packages. We can either set you up with two separate acts or a single act that is capable of both. Our combination acts are not just bands that play CDs on breaks. They are really both excellent musicians AND honest to goodness, beat-matching spin-masters that create great mixes on the fly.
