Catering Quote

Hi,

I am trying to get an idea of pricing for catering for Oct 2010 wedding (planning in advance) for 175ish people... not looking for super gourmet but nicely presented food... open to buffet, definitely want cocktail hour, prefer sit down but will consider options, need ALL rentals (chairs, tables, linens, flatware/plates etc.) AND bar - help! (Need to have a real dinner though, not just heavy cocktails)

Really stuck because we're trying to do this on a tight budget but the place is site only. Ideas re: prices appreciated!

I should have been more specific... I want to locate a caterer that will cater an event at another site - I have a site in mind, but want to line up a caterer that do off-site and handle everything there... for a Saturday evening.

Thanks for the info though, previous poster! Can anyone give me a quote based on off-site catering for 175ish people, dinner (buffet/sit-down) with bar?
