Classic Rock- Smaller Bands or Guitar/Vocal Duos
Okay, so my fiance and I are very into classic rock and folksy stuff in terms of music...I don't know that we can afford a band..but I figured I'd just put this out there and see what comes up...
ex:
Bob Dylan
The Beatles
Eric Clapton
Neil Young
Traveling Wilburys
Harry Chapin
Willie Nelson
Van Morrison
Mark Knopfler/Dire Straits
etc.
We're probably going to end up with a DJ...most of the bands I've noticed are either way too expensive or don't really do exactly the type of music we're looking for...
My father knows a pair of guitar players who sing and cover a lot of these types of classic rock songs very well, so I may look into asking them.
However, does anyone know of anyone like this? Or any small bands that do similiar material? Also, if you know of price ranges, that would be wonderful.
