I was wondering how much a violinist or harpist would be for an hour. We have a hospitality of 11:30, which is 1/2 before the ceremony and were interested in maybe hiring someone to play during the time. Cermony and cocktail music are already booked. Does anyone have a general idea of costs for this? Thanks?

The fee for the classical performer is for up to an hour. This covers music as guests arrive (half hour)
plus the ceremony (half hour).Cost for Harp is slightly more. We use the concert grand harp (see at http:www.stanwiest.com/harp.htm) and it has to be trucked in. It is impressive in appearance and sound.Cost depends on the location-is it local or is there travel time involved. There are no taxes added to performing music services.
I can provide cassette tapes for you to listen to the various instruments available. Everything depends on the specific date, time and location. Please feel free to call me at
631-754-0594. Also visit my main site at
http://www.stanwiest.com Under specialty entertainments there is a list of considerations. Click on the names and you will be sent to specific
sites with information.
