Coordinator

Hi,
I am getting married June 5, 2010 and thinking of having a coordinator for the day of the wedding or possibly prior.

Does anyone have any information they can share, with what would be involed of a coordinator and the quotes.

What would coordinator handle? basically, what would be their role?
