Hello ladies. I was wondering what everyone is paying for their invitations. It seems that the ones I`ve been picking come out to @$900 for qty.100 (including all components)and that`s with a 20-30% discount!!! Seems to much , don`t you think?

Invitation costs can vary from book to book. $900 does seem a bit much for 100 invitations but you don`t say if they are custom, 100% cotton paper or from an exclusive line.
My advice would be to try to get the name of the book you are looking at and the item # so you can do some comparison shopping. This way you are sure to get the invitation you want at the best possible price.

The average price of Invitations today is between
$400.00 and $600.00 per 100. That would be for the whole ensemble--(Invitations and envelopes, Printed Return Address on Outer Envelope Flap, Envelope Lining, Reception Card, Response Card and Printed Response Envelope). That would be the average --however, the most affordable ones generally run about $150.00 per 100 and go up from
there to approximately $3,000.00 per 100. Which, obviously, is a large span. Generally, speaking, as with everything else, you get what you pay for.
The quality of the Card Stock and Papers can vary greatly, as can the method of printing used. Obviously, you are looking at an invitation that is a little higher-end.
The invitation is the first impression that your guests receive and sets the tone for the whole celebration to follow. It should create a lasting and favorable impression and reflect your unique personal style and the ambience of your affair.
All of this can be acheived without spending a fortune. There are thousands of styles to choose from at every price point.

You must be looking at Encore, I just saved a couple over $200 that liked $900 invitations because of the 25% off. We also have other invitations which are so much less expensive, it depends on your budget and your taste!
