Deseversky Mansion

I recently got engaged and have been to so many beautiful halls but I fell in love with the Deseversky Mansion. The problem is that they don't do food tasting and a reluctant to show me the place set up for a wedding. I'm a little nervous about booking a date and the temporary hold I have will expire in a few days. My question is has anyone heard of anyone who got married there who had a sit down dinner not mansion style wedding? I'm desperately seeking any feedback regarding this issue. If anyone knows other mansions within reasonable distance in long island(Nassau county) besides oheka Vanderbilt, and Coindre Hall Mansion I would appreciate it.

My personal band has played for many weddings at De Seversky both in the Mansion Style and the sit down dinner style in the Grand Ballroom. The food is excellent and it is a wonderful location. I have been recommended by De Seversky for over 18 years and all my performers have only good things to say. I have provided everything from string ensembles to DJs and Bands for weddings at De Seversky. You will love De Seversky.

I have married a few couples there and they were all extremely happy with their choice of venue.

I don't know what 'mansion style' vs 'sit down' dinner is, but I do know that I LOVE the DeSeversky Center. It's beautiful and the food is fabulous. I think it's very special.

There are two totally different approaches to weddings at De Seversky. Some brides like the Mansion style and some like the sit down dinner in the grand ballroom. I personally prefer the sit down dinner in the grand ballroom but I have played for many weddings at De Seversky in both styles. I photographed a wedding at the Deseversky last night. It's a really beautiful place. The bride's dressing room is great. There are a million spots for photography. The mansion has an intimate atmosphere and is kept in fantastic shape too. Good luck.
