DJ at La Grange?
Any DJ's that have worked at La Grange Inn? They tell me that the DJ will have to be insured for 1 million in liability. Is this the norm?

Most of us who work all the major venues do have liability insurance although there are relatively few venues that insist on seeing our policy. It should not be a problem.

The insurance requirement is correct for catering establishments. I have provided many DJ`s for weddings at Le Grange and they require the insurance certificate you mentioned. Be careful of the volume of the DJ. If the DJ has not worked there before you could run into
a volume issue. There is a tendency for the sound to be a bit loud. My policy is that every guest should be able to say 'The DJ played my type of of Music (regardless of the age group) and I had no problem carrying on a conversation when I was not dancing'. This policy will keep the older guests happy.
