I am having a Pentecostal wedding where there is no alcohol or dancing. I would like to know from DJs out there if they have ever been to an event like this and if so, what kind of things did they do with the group for entertainment.
I will be having a slideshow presentation of some sort. Additionally, I will be having a bridal party who would need introductions.
What else would you do at such an event if you hired as a DJ in such a circumstance. Please also provide me quotes with detailed explanations of your services for that figure.
Thanks, Riniko

Re: DJs
I have provided DJ's for similar weddings and I have also played for similar weddings with my personal band. Since there is no dancing a suggestion is to involve your guests as much as possible (and this works better with a band) an idea is to have a number of your guests sing with DJ as sort or a 'show' for your guests. It is easier with a band . If your DJ has a sing along set up with a list of songs- this would help. At one of the weddings my band played for -the bride arranged for a number of guests to tell humorous or warm hearted stories about the bride and groom. At another wedding the bride and groom involved the guests in sort of a game of 'making up stories' based on certain information and awarded prizes to the best stories. In each of the above weddings there was no dancing due to religious reasons. Hope this was of some help to you. If you take the above approach I am sure you will be able to come up with ideas. You might also consult with the bridal party if they have similar ideas. Good luck and have a happy upcoming holiday season.
