Engagement Ring help...

My boyfriend and I will be ring shopping again next weekend. Does anyone know any reputable jewelers where we can find a good quality diamond at a discount.

Our budget is max 8500-9000. I would like an emerald cut diamond, about 1.50 carats and good quality. I guess the only place would be the NYC Diamond District . Any recommendations??
