Florists

Hi, How far in advance is fine to book a florist?
I have about 1 1/2years till my wedding. I just need a time frame. Thank You.

Depends on type of florist you go for. Some large companies, will take on as many weddings as they can, like a factory. Some companies like ourselves that specialize in weddings will only take on a certain amount for the weekend. We go by reccomendations mostly and if its a busy weekend, it books up quick. My suggestion is to at least find who you want. If that is important to you, you can at least reserve the date in advance then when you get your dress colors and more decisions are made, you can sit down and discuss more things.

If booking a certain vendor is not a necessity, you should consider the date and time of year if you choose a retail florist, who has holidays to work around, so I would do it at least 6-12 months before.www.longislandweddingflowers.com
