Hair help... looking for a down hairstyle.

I am currently looking for a hairstylist who can acheive a romantic/vintage but modern hairstyle for my wedding. So far I had 2 trials where they used curling irons and I hate the look of the spiral/banana curl. Soft waves are what I am looking for and either all down or mostly down. I have used hot rollers in the past and would like someone who can offer that as well.
