Help Entertainment

Hello we are having our reception at the coral house in the americana room. We already have a dj to play music but there will be no dancing at the reception besides our first dance. We are looking for some entertainment. Something like dancers who come in and put on a show for maybe 30 mins. Does anyone have any suggestions.

Your help is really appreciated. Our wedding is July 7, 2002 so we are really press for time.

I have been approached many times with similar situations regarding entertainment at functions where there is no dancing. A thirty minute show of a comic (nothing off color) works great. Information about the guests can be incorporated into the show. Also a magic show of 30 minutes. You can also have a walk around sleight of hand magician to entertain your guests. He would perform magic at the tables-and stroll from table to table.This is a one hour minimum.
A dance demonstration can also be arranged. A dance team (2 dancers) can demonstrate the various ballroom dances in formal attire. They will provide the music on a CD foryour DJ to play.
