Historical Chapel

FH and I are having a really hard time because I've always wanted to get married in a church and he..well being Jewish he hasn't, and would prefer a more 'neutral' location. I think this place may be ideal, the bets of bost worlds.

I'm interested in pricing info, and what the capacity is? and does it have a long aisle? In the pics on the website it looks very small ANY info would be appreciated. thanks!

Re: Historical Chapel

Hello,

Sorry this took so long, I was away for a week and it almost slipped by.

I myself love the Historical Chapel, which is a good thing considering that I'm there quite often! It has a great feel to it and with most of the clergy there you are free to customize the ceremony to fill all your needs, but it does only seat about 120. Price is in the same ballpark as what it will cost you to have the ceremony at the hall since the HC price includes the officiant & music. December is not as expensive as June or September would be, also they are the same owners as Coachman Limos, so usually they offer discounts to Chapel Brides. The aisle isn't a grand cathedral but in my opinion it's not too shabby either!

I hope all this has been helpful. The only real way to tell is to go take a look though. Coachman has an open house on Tuesday nights so you will be sure that someone is there to show you around if you need to go in the evening.

The United Nations has a chapel in NYC if the drive is ok with you. I hear it is beautiful but I've never been there myself.

Good luck in your search. I'm sure there's a perfect location just waiting for you and your beloved!
