Hotels for OOT guests near The Carltun

Hi - I am getting married at the Carltun in Eisenhower Park on May 30, 2009, and I was going to use the Garden City Hotel for my out of town guests but I heard it is closing down - what other hotels are in the area that are as nice? Also, where could FH and I spend our wedding night? any suggestions? thank you!!!!
