There is no way anybody will get from Queens to Flowerfield in a half-hour unless one travels at excessive speeds. It takes about 20 minutes to get to Flowerfield from Brentwood, Exit 54 LIE. There is no way you can get to Queens from Brentwood in 10 minutes! I find the 45 minute estimate a stretch as well. Check mapblast or mapquest and you will get a pretty realistic estimate.

I was curious... I checked mapblast, and from the LIE Queens line was estimated at 55 minutes...

I am in Islip. It takes us 20-30 minutes to get to Flowerfields.
Queens, JFK area is south shore............it will take a minimum of an hour.
It also depends on what day or night or what season. If you're talking about summer months and a Friday night. It could take you up to 2 hours in summer traffic.
