How much time for Pictures?

Hello! I have already booked a catering hall and am in the process of reserving my church. How much time do you think I need to allot for pictures between the ceremony and reception? It takes approx 20 minutes to get from the church to the catering hall. I would like to have 90% of my formal photos done before we get to the reception hall.

I am also interested in setting up appointments to meet with photographers for the last weekend in June.

Hi Jill,

I think 3 hours would be a good amount of time. This includes the 20 minute travel time and some time to relax before the cocktail hour. The size of your bridal party and the number of your family group shots could influence this amount of time.
